Our rule of thumb is simple: once a repair passes about 10% of the cost of a new, more efficient system, it is time to weigh your options. Below that line, repair is often the practical choice. Above it, we will walk through the trade-offs with you.

Maintenance keeps summers boring

The best summer is the one where your air conditioner is a background noise you never think about. That takes a little attention in spring. Our club membership, at $219.99, includes at least two visits a year: a spring AC tune-up and a fall furnace tune-up. During a tune-up we clean, check, lubricate and inspect, so small problems get caught before they turn into a breakdown on the hottest day of the year.

What a good first call looks like

• You tell us what you are seeing: warm air, strange noises, a system that runs and runs, or one that will not start.
• We schedule a visit and a technician looks the system over.
• We explain what we found, what it means and what your choices are.
• You decide. We do the work you choose, and we do it properly.
