Air conditioning repair that finds the real fault
Warm air from the vents, a condenser that hums and will not start, a line that ices over. We work out what is actually broken, fix that, and tell you why.
Chapter 01
Why an air conditioner runs and still blows warm
A system that runs without cooling has usually lost one link in a chain. The condensate drain removes the water your air conditioner pulls out of the air, and in a humid house that water moves slowly, mixes with dust and clogs the line. The indoor blower pushes air from the returns across the evaporator coil. The condenser fan pulls air across the outdoor coil so the refrigerant can drop the heat it carried out of your home.
Two more parts decide whether the air coming out is cold. The coils are covered in light, bendable fins that try to keep dirt, pet hair and grass off the refrigerant lines, and when those fins clog, the system overworks and can use 25% more electricity without you seeing anything wrong. The compressor moves refrigerant through the whole loop, and because it never gets a rest, it eventually wears out.
That is why warm air is a symptom and not a diagnosis. A weak blower, a dead condenser fan, a dirty coil and a tired compressor can all feel identical from the thermostat.

How we find the actual fault before we quote a repair
Jesse Davis called several HVAC companies about an air conditioner that would not blow cold. Each one named a different problem that would surely fix it. That is the standard we hold ourselves to. We check airflow, the drain line, the electrical components, the motors and the refrigerant before we say what needs replacing, and we tell you what each finding means in plain words. A quote should be for the part that failed, not a list of parts that might have.

Chapter 03
What a coil clean and a spring tune-up buy you in an Arkansas summer
Northwest Arkansas summers are long and humid, so your air conditioner runs hard for months. A foam and chemical clean of the condenser coil clears the fins so the system moves heat the way it was built to, and a clean coil is the cheapest way to keep from overworking the compressor.
A spring tune-up is where we catch small things while they are still small: a slow drain, a motor that tests weak, a coil gathering dirt. It is also the first of the two yearly visits in our club membership, so a problem found in April does not become a no-cool call in July.
Between visits, keep a clean filter in the system. A low quality filter or a missing filter is one of the fastest ways to clog an evaporator coil, and replacing it is a five minute job you can do yourself.

The six repairs behind most no-cool calls

- Condensate drain
- We clean and treat the line that carries the water your system pulls out of the air, before a clog backs it up.
